100.7

That's the temp that my poor baby woke with today.

Which explains yesterday's experience. :o) My next clue that he might be sick? He slept for 13 straight hours. If you have read previous postings on sleep, you'll understand why this is unusual behavior for the Munch.

Here's hoping that my own headache and aversion to breakfast are just sympathy pains.

Pukeasauras Rex (TMI Warning)

I'm pretty sure the only thing worse than your child puking all over another child's crib...

...would be that same child puking at brunch, in a restaurant, where he is meeting your seldom-seen college buddies for the first time (none of whom have kids and one of whom is eight months pregnant), while you are catching his vomit in your hands and saying "Oh my god oh my god oh my god" over and over.

Pancakes with a side of mortification, anyone?

IF I Were Crafty...

...which I'm not, I would make this tree for Spring/Easter decor in the house. I would use blown eggs that I delicately painted and decorated. I would cut the tree limbs from my yard.

Like it? This site is wonderful for you crafty people.

To Do:
1. Move
2. To a house with storage
3. Buy crafting materials
4. Be crafty
5. Stun others with my craftiness :o)

Ack. Maybe next year.

A Real Playdate

This is the first time we've gotten together with Mommies and Babies, when the Babies actually played together...well, okay, separately, but together in the same room. It's a start!

The biggest lesson I learned from today was to always bring the fancy SLR camera with me when children are involved. There were so many adorable photo ops that I missed because the point-and-click was too slow! (You might recognize the Girl Baby from a previous photo session. She's the one on the right.)

Show Off

In the last two months, The Muncher (a more appropriate name as of late) has demonstrated that he can roll over from back to front...exactly three times. Evidently, his motto is "roll when necessary."

All of a sudden, however, he's unstoppable, and has even figured out that performing this new trick can get him better access to toys!

Making the Most of a Fussy Baby

When all else fails, try to have a giggle.
